Bazza Banana checks out the bananas in the
Sydney Markets.
The F&V Gang can been seen here standing next to the Apollo 13 car that was participating in the NSW Variety Bash. The Apollo 13 car was driven by one of the Sydney Markets wholesalers who raised thousands of dollars for the Variety Club. The day before, the F&V Gang were a huge hit when they appeared with the Apollo 13 crew on the Sydney Channel 10 weather with Tim Bailey. Tamara Tomato and the rest of the F&V Gang can now been seen on the back of the Pony Express ute, which
is often spotted driving around Sydney and
throughout NSW.

Out and about…Sydney Markets sponsor the NSW Dept Education & Training ‘School Sport Foundation’ (click here for more info). Athletes competing in the PSSA State Soccer Championship can be seen here grabbing some extra energy from the ‘Fresh for Kids’ Fruit stop. Athletes competing in the PSSA State Netball Championship couldn’t wait to get the scoop on some Kiwi Gold and also added some bananas to replace some of the energy the were burning on the netball courts.
Bazza Banana had such a fantastic day when he went to meet students from The Oaks Public School. Bazza Banana was very popular at The Oaks Public School, but two students managed to corner Bazza to themselves for just a minute. Kids playing with the www.freshforkids.com.au website which was part of the Muirfield High School exhibit at Castle Hill Show.

As always, Oscar Orange was a favourite of the crowd at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. The recent NSW Primary School Sports Association Swimming Championships held at the Sydney Acquatic Centre, was the perfect opportunity for some kids to meet Summa Strawberry.
Competitors at the NSW Primary Schools Sports Association Swimming Championships got plenty of extra energy from the fresh fruit available. Bligh Park Public School held a special 'Nutrition Week'. Helping celebrate was Captain Capsicum who proved a huge hit at the school assembly. Here's a photo of the Bligh Park Public School 'Nutrition Think Tank'.

Sydney Markets and the Fresh for Kids Program sponsors sporting events like the PSSA Swimming Championships via the School Sport Foundation. The bananas and apples were a great snack for both the kids and their parents! Oscar Orange with some fans at the Governor’s Picnic Day to celebrate Universal Children’s Day. Bananas, apples and kiwi fruit are a great source of energy and were a cool treat for kids at the PSSA Athletics. We love our fruit!! Munching on apples with Oscar Orange and a kindergarten class from Freemans Reach Public School.
